Weekend Full of Festivals in Catamarca

During the upcoming weekend, Catamarca is preparing to host a series of events that promise fun and entertainment for all tastes. The activity schedule begins on February 5 with the workshop "Flavors of Altitude" at the Tinogasta Flavor Museum, where participants can learn about the production of artisanal liqueurs and herb-flavored sugar from the mountains.

On Friday, February 7, the festivals will kick off with the "Pepper Festival" in La Merced, followed by the 2nd edition of the "Cuarteto Festival" in Tinogasta, which will feature recognized artists. On the same day, visitors are invited to discover the city of Tinogasta through a City Tour that will depart from the main square.

On Saturday, February 8, the agenda will continue with "Poncho Rock" at the UTA venue in Alto Fariñango in the provincial capital, where various bands will perform to delight attendees. Meanwhile, in Antofagasta de la Sierra, an excursion to High Mountain will be offered.

As for Sunday, February 9, several events will take place such as the "Whinny Festival" in Santa María, where attendees can enjoy folk music and gaucho parades. Additionally, other festivals will be celebrated in different towns across the province, thus concluding a weekend packed with cultural and recreational activities.

For those who enjoy the rock scene, the Tiro Federal Club in the city of Belén will host a new edition of "Belén Rock" on Friday, February 7, featuring well-known bands from the genre. In summary, Catamarca is positioning itself as an attractive tourist destination this February, offering a variety of options for all visitors.
