According to the Argentine News Agency, the 'Drill' won with a double from its promising forward Tiziano Perrotta, who reached five goals in his tenth game in the First Division, at the 28th and 36th minutes of the first half, while the goal by attacker Federico Anselmo, at the 37th minute of the second half, sealed the rout. With the victory, the team coached by Pedro Trogliose will face the winner between Estudiantes de Río Cuarto, from the First Division, and San Martín de Tucumán, from the National First Division. Real Pilar's first chance came before the first minute of the game, with a shot from winger Valentín Mancini from the right vertex of the area that went low to the near post, saved by goalkeeper Facundo Sanguinetti.
