
This Monday, during a raid in the town of Tafí Viejo Centro, the authorities of the Police Station arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with a threat case. In the subject's home, three shotguns, one rifle, magazines, and 56 cartridges of different calibers were found and confiscated.
The original complaint was filed on January 31 by a 64-year-old woman, who stated that the arrested man had threatened her life after she rejected maintaining a romantic relationship with him. Following the complaint, the police initiated an investigation that culminated in the raid and the arrest of the suspect.
The raid took place at a house on Rivadavia street, number 100, in Tafí Viejo. The order to carry out this operation was issued by the Justice and supervised by Chief Commissioner José Márquez, under the direction of the head of the Northern Regional Unit, General Commissioner Gustavo Beltrán.
The detained man, along with the seized firearms and ammunition, was handed over to the Unit for Sexual Integrity and Gender of the II Nomination. The investigation is open for threats of death with the use of firearms, and appropriate measures against the accused are expected to be taken accordingly.
