Argentina Hosts MotoGP Grand Prix in Santiago del Estero

This Friday marks the start of the Argentina Grand Prix of MotoGP at the Termas de Río Hondo circuit in Santiago del Estero, marking the country's return to the calendar after two years. The event will feature the participation of Valentín Perrone in the Moto 3 category. Argentina will be the second race of the season after Thailand, where Marc Márquez took the victory.

Six-time category champion Marc Márquez will seek to match Valentino Rossi in titles and become the all-time winner of this Grand Prix, in which he has already triumphed in 2014, 2016, and 2019. Free practices will take place on Friday, qualifying and the sprint race on Saturday, and the main races of MotoGP, Moto 2, and Moto 3 will be held on Sunday.

Valentín Perrone, 17 years old, will have his second race in Moto 3 at this event. In his debut in Thailand, he had to withdraw after a collision with another rider. Previous winners of the Argentina Grand Prix at Termas de Río Hondo include Marc Márquez, Valentino Rossi, Maverick Viñales, Cal Crutchlow, Aleix Espargaró, and others.

The event schedule includes free practices, qualifying, and the sprint race on Saturday, and the main races of each category on Sunday. The local audience will be particularly interested in Perrone's performance, while Márquez's fans will wait to see if the Spaniard can prevail once again at this Argentine circuit.
