Two families were involved in a brawl on the beach of the coastal town of Santa Teresita due to the volume of music last Sunday. The incident took place at the public beach located at 43rd Street and Costanera Avenue, near the Tobomar aquatic complex.
According to local reports, the confrontation was triggered when a member of one family asked the other to lower the music volume, as their grandchild could not sleep due to the noise. What started as a verbal dispute over the loud music from one of the tents on the beach quickly turned into a physical fight between both families.
A witness managed to record on video the moment when the discussion escalated into a physical confrontation in the middle of the beach. Police officers intervened to try to calm the situation. The fight culminated with a young woman attacking another woman, grabbing her hair and throwing her to the ground.
So far, it is unknown what actions the police authorities of the province of Buenos Aires took after the altercation, as well as the health status of the 48-year-old woman who was assaulted during the beach fight.
