License Suspension After Incident on National Route 35

In the province of La Pampa, the suspension of a driver's license has been requested for a motorist after she, while overtaking on a double yellow line, brushed against a motorcyclist putting his life at risk. The scene was captured on video by the motorcyclist's own camera and has gone viral in recent hours.

The incident took place on National Route 35, and the shocking video shows how the woman's car, a resident of San Miguel in the province of Buenos Aires, recklessly crossed lanes to overtake several vehicles, including a truck, nearly hitting the motorcyclist who was correctly riding in his lane near Santa Rosa.

The National Road Safety Agency (ANSV) intervened in the case and requested the suspension of the driver's license. In a statement, they noted: "Her actions seriously endangered the life of the motorcyclist, who was correctly riding in his lane."

Now, the relevant authorities will carry out the necessary examinations to determine the driver's fitness to continue operating a vehicle. It is crucial to remember that the presence of a double yellow line indicates a prohibition on overtaking and changing lanes, warning of possible road dangers, such as curves, level changes, or low visibility, where a reckless maneuver can result in a head-on collision with fatal consequences.
