Unión and Barracas Central drew 0-0 in Santa Fe in a match corresponding to the fifteenth round of the Torneo Clausura. The match was fraught with friction, interruptions, and few clear-cut chances, especially during a first half that left more hits and fouls than football. In those initial 45 minutes, both teams tried to progress, but constant infringements thwarted any attempt to build a flowing game. There were some isolated efforts, such as Rodrigo Insúa's shot for the visitors and Mauro Pittón's for the home side, in addition to a series of corners for Unión that failed to break the deadlock. The closing of the match found Barracas slightly more decisive, with two clear-cut chances: a shot from Facundo Bruera that went just wide and a late effort from Insúa that hit the crossbar, raising alarms in Santa Fe. Even so, Unión held onto the clean sheet, and with this result, they are now first in Zone A with a good perspective for qualifying for the playoffs in the final round when they face Belgrano de Córdoba.
