The iconic cumbia band "Los Palmeras" from Santa Fe has managed to resolve the rumors of separation and crisis that had arisen among its members. Marcos Camino, the group's accordionist, recounted in an interview with the Santa Fe media outlet El Litoral that the origin of the dispute was an initial misunderstanding due to a "broken telephone." He expressed, "I apologized if I made a mistake in any way. I left there feeling relieved, as if I had taken an elephant off my back."
Regarding the health status of Cacho Deicas, who suffered a stroke on January 10, it was revealed that the singer of Los Palmeras is eager to return to the stage, but he has been advised not to rush and to prioritize his rehabilitation process. According to Camino, the most important thing is to ensure his partner's well-being.
After a meeting between Camino and Deicas, it was confirmed that the band will not separate. Both managed to reconcile their differences and embraced silently, marking a new beginning for Los Palmeras. The decision to stay united has generated shock in the Santa Fe cumbia scene.
