San Nicolás, March 11 (NA Special Envoy)—Producers Marcos Pereda and Santos Zuberbühler announced today the creation of the movement “Renovación con Unidad” (Renewal with Unity), which aims to lead the organization starting this year. The launch took place at the Expoagro exhibition, where both leaders were accompanied by producers promoting renewal within the institution, which celebrates its 160th anniversary this year. “Facing the challenges of the modern world and Argentina, and the need to adapt institutions to the new demands of the partners, we believe we can make our contribution and offer an alternative in terms of representation,” Pereda stated during the presentation. The new space brings together different internal lines and independent sectors. Pereda is the founder of the Federal Commitment Movement, while Zuberbühler is a leader of Unity and Action. In this sense, he noted that moving towards a fourth consecutive presidential term deviates from the institutional quality criterion that inspired that process. “It is not a personal issue; it is the defense of a principle and a form of leadership based on clear rules and predictability,” he added. Meanwhile, Zuberbühler stated: “We represent a sector with enormous potential that is the backbone of the country's economy. We must all work together to defend what is ours and help partners have more and better services. Expanding, professionalizing, and restoring the centrality of the Rural Society in the productive agenda is what drives us.”
