President Javier Milei held a press conference at the fairgrounds, where he promised the end of currency controls. The president will focus on management measures, highlighting the reduction of inflation and listing the policies for the sector that his economic team is working on. On this occasion, Milei announced a specific date to lift the restriction, scheduled for the last day of the year.

It is expected that during the event, Milei will be accompanied by participating entrepreneurs and producers. Among those present are the governors of provinces like Santa Fe, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Chubut, Chaco, and Buenos Aires. Some ministers from Buenos Aires also confirmed their attendance. The exhibition will feature the presence of 700 exhibitors, and 10 livestock auctions will take place, with special financing provided by various banking entities.

ExpoAgro 2025 will take place at the San Nicolás racetrack, in the northern part of Buenos Aires province, throughout the week. Javier Milei will participate on Friday, during the closing of the event, following the opening that will begin on Monday night with the exhibitors' dinner. Despite the emergency situation in Bahía Blanca due to the severe storm, the president will find time to meet with leaders from the agricultural sector, an important area for his administration.

Other government members, such as the Chief of Staff and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Interior, will be present at the exhibition at different times during the week. In the previous edition of the exhibition, Milei was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, and Deputy José Luis Espert. During the fair, more than 30 machines with technology applied to agriculture will be showcased, and there will be a panel on artificial intelligence and robotics. As part of the Economic Forum, economists like David Miazzo, Carlos Melconian, and Salvador Di Stéfano will offer their perspectives in various conferences.
