The Nación Bank has introduced a new credit line for purchasing agricultural machinery with favorable terms: dollar loans at 0% and peso loans at 19%. The goal is to beat last year's record and strengthen its market share.

The Nación Bank announced on Tuesday a new financing scheme that includes dollar-denominated loans at a 0% rate and peso-denominated lines at a fixed 19%, aimed at the acquisition of agricultural machinery. The BNA launched the credit line during the first day of Expoagro 2026 in the city of San Nicolás, where long lines of producers formed at the entity's booth. According to bank authorities, the objective is to surpass the record credit placement of the previous edition and consolidate its current market share, which reached a historical peak of 19.3%, as learned by the Argentine News Agency.

Key points of the credit offer The menu of options presented by the BNA seeks to adapt to the technological investment needs of the sector. As expressed, financing is for up to 100% of the asset's value, with terms of up to 60 months. In dollars, the 0% rate loans have quotas of up to US$1.5 million, while in pesos the rate is 19% per year. In provinces like Santa Fe and Entre Ríos, through local agreements, the rate can drop to 16%. There are credit lines for used machinery, with rates starting from 24% in pesos and 3% in dollars.

According to the BNA+ Empresas platform, loans of up to $60 million are offered for 12 months at a rate of 35%. In dollars, up to US$2 million are offered for individuals and no limit for companies. The proposal was presented during the inauguration ceremony of the entity's institutional booth, led by the bank's President, Darío Wasserman, accompanied by the Board of Directors and the General Manager, Gastón Álvarez.
