On March 10, the 20th ExpoAgro 2026, the region's largest agribusiness exhibition, will begin in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, with high expectations for a government announcement on the permanent elimination of export duties. The event will be held at the fairground and racetrack from March 10 to 13. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, ExpoAgro has set a new record: all spaces were booked in advance, with over 700 exhibitors and 100 companies joining or returning to the event. Andrea Fiadone, Head of Content at Exponenciar, emphasized that the exhibition will again offer a "robust and diverse agenda" and announced that there will be seven auditoriums throughout the venue. The agenda will feature two new initiatives called "Eureka!". Among the participants will be political figures and economists, including Buenos Aires Province Governor Axel Kicillof. The rural sector is also awaiting an announcement on the definitive elimination of export duties. The latest news indicates a reduction of 1 to 2 percentage points in duties for soybeans, corn, wheat, and sunflower. "Since we began our administration, we have dedicated ourselves to generating public policies that provide answers for the interior of Buenos Aires, but the current political and economic scenario drives us to continue thinking about how value can be added in such a competitive sector as agribusiness," said Kicillof.
