The Chacarita Juniors club issued an official statement regarding the incidents that occurred during the pensioners' protest on Wednesday. In the statement, the institution strongly condemned the acts of violence that took place near Congress. It was emphasized that such behaviors go against the values promoted by the Villa Maipú club.
In an additional gesture, Chacarita shared two more messages through their social networks. In these reposts, the Board of Directors, the Atlético Chacarita Juniors Club, and Néstor Di Pierro, president of the entity, were mentioned. These interventions aimed to add reflections to the original statement.
In the first cited message, the club emphasized that Chacarita Juniors is a community built on the foundation of respect, passion, and commitment to football and its supporters, rejecting any kind of violence. In the second, members, fans, and supporters were called to always maintain respect and coexistence as fundamental pillars of the identity of the San Martín club.
