Leandro Capriotti, a prominent member of a Chacarita supporters group, responded to the accusations made by Security Minister Patricia Bullrich, who pointed him out as one of the organizers of the recent march of retirees. Capriotti clarified that he had no participation in the demonstration that took place at Congress and which involved the presence of hardcore fans from various Argentine football teams.
In statements to El Ascenso x 3 on Splendid AM 990, the supporter of the "Funebrero" club said that he is a recognized figure in San Martín and that the person Bullrich accuses of being the organizer of the protest does not match his physical description: "People who know me know that it's not me." Capriotti also mentioned that he had to calm his family due to the accusations made by the minister, whom he referred to as "minister of insecurity."
Capriotti added that his public activity in the area as a member of an organization called JUPE (Juventud Unida Peronista) is not related to the call for the march in question. He categorically stated that he did not call anyone nor participated in the mentioned event.
