According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the little girl was found on Avenida Riobamba at 2300, without clothes, so she was immediately transferred by a police vehicle to the Dr. Diego Thompson Municipal Hospital, where she was assisted by Dr. Melina Pasarelli. The health professional reported that it is a premature newborn, with approximately 36 weeks of gestation, weighing 1,890 grams and is clinically stable. The same doctor considered that the delivery was natural and home-based, and also estimated the time of birth around 5:00 a.m., when the umbilical cord was cut in an artisanal manner. The medical staff named the baby "Verónica", in recognition of Lieutenant 1st Ayala Verónica, who found the minor after an alert in the early morning of this Wednesday, January 7. The case is in the hands of UFI No. 03 of the San Martín Judicial Department, under the heading of abandonment of person and a security camera survey of the area will be carried out.
