The body of Sofía Delgado, a 20-year-old young woman who disappeared in Santa Fe, was found dead on a rural road in the town of Ricardone, wrapped in thermal insulation. After intense operations, five people have been arrested in connection with this crime, allowing it to be classified as such.
The lawyer for the victim's family revealed that they had maintained hope that Sofía would return alive and suggested that one of the detainees may have provided key information that led to the discovery of the body. He emphasized that, given the tragic situation, they will seek to determine whether it was a femicide, although the circumstances point in that direction.
According to Fernando Virgili, the family's lawyer, the collaboration of the media was crucial in reaching this outcome. They will now focus on understanding the degree of participation of each detainee. Among those arrested are a couple, Alejandro José Bevilacqua (35) and Miranda Leguizamón (29), as well as three other individuals not yet publicly identified.
Virgili highlighted that they had previously had some information about these individuals, as they had been summoned in relation to the investigation. It is expected to clarify in more detail the involvement of each of the detainees in this heartbreaking case.
