In Santa Fe, a man and a woman were arrested in the last hours for being allegedly linked to a case of sexual abuse against a minor, which occurred in 2024. Official sources informed the Noticias Argentinas Agency that personnel from the Investigations Police (PDI), dependent on the Ministry of Justice and Security of that province, carried out a procedure in the city of San Lorenzo, within the framework of an investigation for a crime against sexual integrity, with the intervention of the Public Ministry of the Accusation. The case originated from a complaint filed during 2024, linked to an event that occurred in a property in that locality. Since it is a case involving a minor, the corresponding protocols were activated, and the victim's identity is strictly safeguarded to guarantee their protection and the normal development of the judicial proceedings. In compliance with the orders from the intervening judicial authority, personnel from the Gender, Sexual and Family Area of the San Lorenzo PDI carried out searches and arrest warrants, achieving positive results. As a result of the procedure, a man and a woman, identified by their initials M. J. and R. D., were apprehended. Additionally, during the procedure, officials seized several mobile phone devices, which will be subjected to analysis within the framework of the ongoing investigation. The apprehended individuals are at the disposal of the intervening Prosecutor's Office, and the corresponding proceedings continue.
