In the Buenos Aires locality of San Justo, a man barricaded himself in a pickup truck and threatened to commit suicide. According to police sources, the incident occurred in a private parking lot located on the corner of Entre Ríos and Perú streets. The suspect's grandmother went to the scene and stated that her grandson is a "psychiatric patient" and that "he forced her to go to Banco Provincia to take out a loan." The woman, identified as Elida Dottos, added that the individual assaulted her, while Prosecutor Núñez ordered the preservation of the scene, the evacuation, and the dispatch of special forces and a mediator. Police officers negotiated with the man, who changed his attitude, surrendered, and was taken to the Policlinic for a medical evaluation. It is awaited that the intervening prosecutor will decide on the course of action for the individual who remains in the sanatorium.
