The National Electricity Regulator Entity (ENRE) authorized TRANSENER to grant the Certificate of Convenience and Public Need requested by the Provincial Electricity Regulatory Entity (EPRE) of the Province of San Juan. This authorization involves the transfer of the 132 kV High Voltage Line Rodeo - Calingasta, with operational and maintenance responsibility assigned to TRANSENER.
The High Voltage Line will connect to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) at the 132 kV bars of the Rodeo Transformer Station. The approval of the Certificate of Convenience and Public Need by ENRE was granted after the deadline for submitting observations, oppositions, or an alternative project expired, as stipulated in Resolution No. 745/2024.
It is important to highlight that TRANSENER, the EPRE of San Juan, and Energía San Juan must strictly comply with Articles 5, 6, and 7 of the mentioned regulations. This process is part of the regulatory actions in the electricity sector to ensure proper functioning of the infrastructures and their integration into the national electricity system.
