In the ninth round of the Top Race in San Jorge, driver Luis José Di Palma achieved his third consecutive victory of the year, thus solidifying his position as leader in the championship with five wins for the season. In this race, the podium was completed by Matías Rossi and Thomas Micheloud.
During the race, Di Palma and Rossi were involved in an incident where both cars made contact, resulting in a maneuver for which the race stewards determined that Rossi had to give the position back to Di Palma. Rossi, disappointed by the stewards' decision, expressed his discontent and mentioned that this incident affected the final result of the race.
Di Palma, for his part, highlighted the return of the position as something fair, and at the end of the contest, Micheloud analyzed his performance and the contact with Ciarrocchi. Micheloud mentioned that they had come from a similar situation in previous races where, in his opinion, necessary measures had not been taken.
The next round of the championship will take place on November 7 in Buenos Aires, with the venue yet to be confirmed. With this victory in San Jorge, Di Palma looks like a favorite to take home the trophy at the end of the season, increasing the gap with his pursuers in the championship.
