Updates on Morena Rial's Legal Situation

Morena Rial's defense attorney, Miguel Ángel Pierri, maintained constant contact with the media over the weekend to explain the imposed measures and the consequences of non-compliance. The attorney stated that the Justice of San Isidro decided to keep Morena free and change the summons regime.

"Morena feels completely disconnected from the incident, she was with the wrong people and did not know she could be involved," Pierri indicated. In light of the possibility of imminent arrest, the attorney explained that the request for revocation of Morena's release was made the previous week due to non-compliance.

Pierri expressed his intention to achieve a rapprochement between Morena and any potential victims, regardless of her responsibility. He highlighted that the media personality is unemployed and will receive financial help from a relative. He considered that the extraordinary release of Morena was appropriate, as procedural dangers were not present.

The attorney mentioned that, along with his colleague Patricio Ferrari, he took on the representation of Morena so that the media personality could provide explanations to the Prosecutor's Office. Pierri emphasized that Morena's detention was excessive and noted that he was surprised by the number of days she was detained.

The media personality is accused of theft in a house in Villa Adelina along with other individuals. The police are searching for the suspects, while some are already detained. Pierri mentioned the possibility of an abbreviated trial and the intention to explore other legal scenarios for Morena's case.
