Justice ordered the raiding of the Olivos Clinic, where Diego Maradona was hospitalized and underwent surgery for a subdural hematoma shortly before his death. Additionally, it was requested to seize the medical history of the former footballer due to discrepancies in the results of the tests performed at that clinic.
Pablo Dimitroff, one of the directors of the Olivos Clinic, provided a laboratory analysis that was not in the file. However, both he and Fernando Villarejo, the director of the intensive care unit of the clinic, will be subject to a confrontation.
Lawyer Mario Baudry, legal representative of Verónica Ojeda and Diego Fernando, Maradona's son, reported that the judges unanimously decided to conduct the procedure at the clinic and summoned three witnesses to testify.
Testimonial statements will be given by three doctors regarding the pre-surgical analyses performed on Maradona before the intervention. The results of the raid will be announced next Thursday in the San Isidro courts during the hearings of the trial investigating the football legend's death.
Currently, the trial includes doctor Leopoldo Luque, psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, and psychologist Carlos Díaz. Also involved in the case are doctor and coordinator of Swiss Medical, Nancy Forlini, doctor Pedro Di Spagna, nurse coordinator Mariano Perroni, and nurse Ricardo Almirón. Additionally, nurse Gisela Madrid is also being prosecuted and will have a jury trial.
