Buenos Aires, December 4 (NA) -- An operation by the Federal Investigations Department of the Federal Police ended with the arrest in San Fernando of a member of Tigre's barra brava, who was accused of extorting and threatening a railway delegate of the Mitre Line. According to the Federal Police reported to the Argentine News Agency, the investigation was activated after the accused burst without authorization into the Victoria workshops to demand money in the railway offices. Faced with the workers' refusal, the aggressor made death threats and forced the complaining delegate to go to the 2nd Police Station of San Fernando. From that presentation, the Correctional Prosecutor's Office of San Fernando, in charge of Marcelo Fuensalida, entrusted the Mitre Federal Railway Police Division of the PFA to track down the suspect. Field tasks revealed that he had an extensive criminal record and was a reference of the Tigre barra, with recent antecedents for the homicide of a Chacarita fan. With the presumption that he was moving near the railway property, the agents set up sustained surveillance. The man fell when he entered again through a clandestine access: when trying to escape, he got rid of a knife, but was arrested a few meters away. IP A mobile from the San Fernando Patrol Command intervened in the procedure, which ended with the seizure of the weapon. The detainee, 44 years old, was at the disposal of the prosecutor's office.
