On Monday, a 15-year-old teenager shot and killed a 13-year-old fellow student at a school in the Argentine province of Santa Fe, in the northeast of the country. According to local authorities, two others were injured in the attack. Ramiro Muñoz, Secretary of Government of the municipality of San Cristóbal, detailed that the attacker took the firearm from a guitar case and fired five shots at the entrance to the patio of the Mariano Moreno educational center at the start of the school day. Local media reported that the attacker was subdued and immobilized by a school staff member until the police arrived. One of the two injured was taken to the emergency room with serious injuries to the face and neck. It has been reported that the boy said he would do it to his classmates.
