Buenos Aires, January 27 (NA) - A woman died in Bariloche, Rio Negro, after falling from the Frey waterfall in the Brazo Tristeza, within Nahuel Huapi National Park. According to Agencia Noticias Argentinas, the victim was approximately 50 years old. She arrived at the location in a private boat accompanied by other people. The woman, from the Buenos Aires Aires municipality of Pilar, reportedly slid down a section of the waterfall, suffering a serious accident. After the incident, she was assisted and given CPR, but without success. Early this morning, around 1:00 a.m., the operation at the site concluded with the removal of the body. The transfer was made by land to Lake Nahuel Huapi, and from there, by water to Bahía López, where the Rio Negro Police carried out the corresponding examinations and the body was taken to the morgue. The Frey Waterfall is a place where descents are made like on a slide, an activity that is prohibited due to the risk involved.
