Two US citizens, aged 68 and 66, were discharged from the hospital on Wednesday after being treated for a serious accident involving a Ferrari. The incident occurred during an exhibition held in the city with the participation of other vehicles from the renowned Italian brand. The men left the hospital without completing their treatment and signed the corresponding documentation to take responsibility for any other consequences they might face from the accident. The accident occurred on Tuesday when the driver of a Ferrari Purosangue, valued at $400,000, ignored a safety warning and exceeded the speed limit. As a result, he went off the road and crashed into a tree near San MartÃn de los Andes. Due to the strong impact, one of the men suffered a chest trauma, while his companion had a severe cardiovascular condition, and they were taken to a local hospital, but today they left voluntarily. Furthermore, provincial authorities decided to cancel, at least temporarily, the event called 'Ferrari Cavalcade Adventure', which had the landscapes of Patagonia as its central setting. The participants, who came from different parts of the world to take part in the exhibition, paid close to $100,000 for registration, which included the transportation of the vehicles and stays in the country's most luxurious hotels, both in the City of Buenos Aires and in the south.
