A man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing his minor daughter and his ex-wife in the province of Corrientes. The Oral Criminal Court No. 1 found him guilty of the crimes of simple sexual abuse, aggravated by coexistence and kinship, against the girl, and sexual abuse with carnal access against his former partner, according to information from the official website of the local Judiciary. The crimes occurred in the city of Saladas, where the perpetrator took advantage of his position of power to attack his own daughter and committed the rapes in a context of family violence. Meanwhile, the reading of the sentence's grounds will take place on November 10 at 12:30, while the responsible party will remain detained under house arrest until the sentence becomes final. The court members ordered that the victims be notified of the conviction, as well as the Register of Convicted for Crimes against Sexual Integrity of the Superior Court of Justice and the National Register of Recidivists.
