On Tuesday, prosecutor Marianela Montemarani from the Specialized Unit for Adolescent Criminal Responsibility of the Regional Prosecutor's Office 3 attributed authorship of the crime of qualified homicide, due to the relationship as a couple and because it was committed by a man against a woman, involving gender-based violence (femicide). "Given the seriousness of the fact, there are other investigative lines open," Montemarani clarified, according to the Argentine News Agency. Likewise, the official valued that "the judge approved what we argued regarding the latent procedural risks and granted the request." Regarding the illegal act, it was raised in the hearing that "the femicide was committed between 11:30 and 13:30 on Tuesday, March 31, in a precarious dwelling in Rufino."
