Buenos Aires, December 15 (NA) — Ignacio Boero has become the new president of Newell's in a historic election held on Sunday at Parque Independencia, with approximately 10,500 voters participating.

The newly elected head led the UNEN alliance's proposal and will formally take office this Monday. The board of directors will be composed of Juan Manuel Medina as first vice president and Hernán Botta as second vice president.

Meanwhile, Juan Costa will serve as secretary, accompanied by Román Guajardo as pro-secretary. In the economic area, Camilo Cristia will be the treasurer and Leonel Larrauri the pro-treaser, while Javier Rebori was appointed secretary of minutes.

According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the alternate directors will be Carlos Altieri, Valeria March, Agustín Baclini, and Pablo Cerra as full directors, with Damián Ruggiero, Rubén Failla, Maximiliano Barrionuevo, and Santiago Daulon as alternate members.
