Buenos Aires, December 11 (NA) – Coach Ariel Holan has decided not to continue as the manager of Rosario Central at the end of the competitive year. The Rosario-based club announced it on its social media, stating that both parties decided by mutual agreement and on good terms to terminate the contract that was set to expire at the end of the year, as learned from the Argentine News Agency (NA). The coach, who arrived in 2024, won the 2025 League Cup with 'The Canalla' by finishing first in the Annual Table. In total, he played 42 matches, achieving 22 victories, 14 draws, and 6 defeats. Rosario Central was the seventh team in Holan's career as a head coach, in which titles stand out with Independiente (Copa Sudamericana 2017 and Suruga Bank 2018) and Universidad Católica de Chile (Chilean Primera División 2020). With 'The Canalla,' he also had outstanding participations in the Apertura and Clausura tournaments. Today, both parties decided by mutual agreement and on good terms to terminate the contract that was set to expire at the end of the year. Although he could not win titles on the field, it is worth noting that the Argentine Football Association, after the regular phase of the current season was over, created the 'League Champion' award, which it gave to the Rosario team.

Rosario Central's statement 'Ariel Holan is no longer the coach of Rosario Central. Coach, thank you for the title, your name is already part of Central's history. The club's doors will always be open for you'.
