A minor was arrested accused of stabbing another person to death in the Santa Fe city of Rosario, and according to the first lines of investigation, the victim and the accused knew each other and had previous conflicts, so authorities suspect that this rivalry was the possible motive for the crime. The Investigations Police (PDI), through the Highly Violent Unit (UVAL), together with the Santa Fe Police's raid group, arrested a 17-year-old young man in the case investigating the homicide of his peer, Joel Elías Ruiz, perpetrated on Sunday, March 21, in the west zone of Rosario. A few hours after the incident, and at the request of Prosecutor Carla Ranciari, along with the Prosecutor's Office for Highly Violent Crime, a raid was carried out at a home on Las Palmeras Avenue at 3000, in the same neighborhood area as the homicide, which concluded with a positive result, according to the police report. As a result of the procedure, a minor was detained, identified as Juan Emir M., who was made available to the Justice. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday when police personnel was commissioned to the vicinity of Las Palmeras Avenue at 3000, in the west zone of Rosario, where a person was reported injured. Despite the fact that the victim was transferred to the municipal hospital El Gurí in the locality of Pérez, doctors confirmed his death. “From the first investigative tasks and testimonies collected, it was established that the attack occurred in the area of Limit Avenue of the Municipality and Passage 1737, where the young man received at least four stab wounds,” the report emphasizes. The intervention of the juvenile criminal court was carried out through Prosecutor Virginia Gabenara, who ordered his transfer to a police station and the continuation of the procedural measures. During the operation, clothing, cell phones, a precision scale, nylon clippings, and a substance compatible with cocaine were seized, sent to the PDI's Microtrafficking headquarters for the corresponding expert reports, the Argentine News Agency learned. Authorities established that the victim and the detainee knew each other and had previous conflicts.
