Miriam Incremona, a collaborator of the Augustinian parish in Rosario, shared in an interview the impact of meeting the then-priest Robert Prevost, currently Pope Leo XIV. Incremona praised the pastoral qualities of the new pontiff, describing him as an intelligent, prudent, and humble person, who met the expectations of being a successor to Francis.
In her words, Incremona conveyed the emotion she felt upon hearing of Prevost's election as pope, expressing her joy and hope to be able to support him in his work. She emphasized that the new pontiff has been strongly influenced by the Augustinian imprint, with values such as interiority, fraternity, and service to the Church, which will create a positive impact on the institution.
Recalling her meeting with Robert Prevost during a visit to the Augustinian order between 2002 and 2003, Incremona mentioned the closeness and warmth she perceived in him. During his stay in Argentina and Uruguay, Prevost engaged with the faithful and parish groups, leaving a lasting impression on those who met him at that time. For Incremona, this experience was very significant and emotional, marked by what she described as "God incidences" that leave a deep mark on the heart.
