A 23-year-old man was shot and is in serious condition at the Eva Perón Hospital in Granadero Baigorria. The incident took place last night in the area of the railway crossing at Eva Perón and the Belgrano Railway tracks.
According to local media, the injured young man, identified as Agustín Almaraz, received multiple gunshot wounds that caused injuries to his stomach and legs, in addition to suffering a femur fracture. After the attack, he was taken to the hospital by a man in a Ford Escort, who then left without providing information to the authorities.
Almaraz is currently in intensive care with respiratory assistance, fighting for his life due to the severity of his injuries. In the same hospital, a 43-year-old woman who witnessed the attack and is pregnant, suffered a nervous breakdown and a loss of amniotic fluid as a result of the situation.
The Prosecutor's Office has taken action to clarify what happened in this violent incident.
