Tragic Shooting of Nurse in Rosario Raises Concerns

The head of the Radioelectronic Command, Diego Santamaría, reported on advances in the investigation of the murder of nurse Ailén Ayelén Oggero in the city of Rosario. Santamaría indicated that they have several solid leads and are working with the hypothesis of femicide.

According to the authorities, Oggero was shot in the morning on Tuesday while closing the door of her house on Pasaje Prusia at 6700. The nurse received at least five shots and was urgently taken to the Clemente Álvarez Emergency Hospital, where she unfortunately died despite medical efforts.

At the crime scene, the possibility of robbery was ruled out since the victim's belongings, such as her fanny pack and car, were found undisturbed. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Oggero had reported gender-based violence by her ex-partner, which strengthens the theory of femicide.

During the tragic event, Oggero's children, aged 4 and 11, witnessed the shots and alerted family and neighbors. Authorities continue to analyze security cameras in the area and collaborate with street personnel in the investigation. This loss has shocked the Rosario community, which demands justice for this new case of gender violence.
