Strong Storm Hits Rosario

Like in other districts, Rosario was no exception and this afternoon suffered the consequences of a strong storm, with 40 millimeters of rain, fallen trees, and several streets flooded in the central area, although it served to significantly lower the temperature. After 2 PM, the weather conditions changed, the sky turned black, and a storm began, whose effects were felt quickly: in just over an hour, some streets were flooded. Additionally, due to strong gusts of wind, several trees, light poles fell, and consequently, some power outages occurred in different parts of the city. According to authorities, about 40 millimeters of rain fell, although as the afternoon progressed, the situation normalized, and no more rain is expected. According to what Noticias Argentinas agency learned, for this Wednesday and Thursday, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) forecasts temperatures that will range between 16 and 27 degrees, while on Friday they are expected to rise again up to 30. On the other hand, heavy rains were also recorded in other nearby cities such as Venado Tuerto, Firmat, and Casilda, although not with the same intensity as in Rosario.
