The governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, confirmed that Santa Fe is ready to take on the full repair of national route A012, and stated that the work will begin immediately once the transfer is formalized by the national government to the provincial one. Pullaro demanded this Tuesday in Rosario the transfer of national route A012 so that the Province can take charge of its repair and restoration. Pullaro framed the future intervention within a broader logistics infrastructure program: "We have a comprehensive plan for access to ports, where the Province has already invested about 180 million dollars", he indicated. According to details, the plan includes the expansion of the Rosario-Santa Fe highway with a third lane and the improvement of strategic routes that channel the flow of trucks to the ports, with the aim of reducing congestion in the accesses and ordering heavy traffic in the metropolitan area. "We seek that there are no more bottlenecks in the surroundings of the ports or in the Greater Rosario", Pullaro concluded, emphasizing the provincial decision to advance in works considered priorities for production and circulation. He also stressed the strategic nature of A012 for production and regional connectivity. A012 is a key corridor in southern Santa Fe that articulates national and provincial routes with the port complex of Greater Rosario; its deterioration affects both cargo transport and the daily life of the area's inhabitants. "They have announced it on several occasions, but we hope that now it can be finalized", he affirmed. The governor assured that the provincial response will be immediate once the transfer is formalized: "When it is finalized, we will begin with the repair of the route and its restoration". The statements were made after the event for the Day of the Veteran and the Fallen in the Malvinas War, and within the framework of the Wednesday announcement by the Minister of the Economy of the Nation, Luis Caputo. In addition, he recalled that the Province had already requested on repeated occasions the transfer of that route and expressed his expectation that, after previous announcements, this time the transfer will be finalized. "It is not the first time that they say they are going to transfer it to us."
