After the government's announcement to eliminate export taxes for regional economies and export duties for all crops until next June, agricultural representatives from various parts of the country have reacted positively. Miguel Simioni, head of the Rosario Stock Exchange (BCR), emphasized that this measure not only encourages economic activity but also has a significant federal impact, especially on regional economies and job creation.

The decision to reduce the tax burden on the productive sector has been met with enthusiasm from farmers, who see it as an important incentive amid a challenging context. The Argentine Rural Society (SRA) has supported this measure, highlighting the importance of prioritizing agriculture as the engine of the national economy.

In this sense, Heraldo Moyetta, president of the Río Cuarto Rural Society, expressed his surprise at the news and valued that the government has fulfilled a campaign promise related to the elimination of taxes. While he expressed gratitude, Moyetta stressed the need to closely examine the terms of the measure.

Meanwhile, José Martins, president of the Argentine Agro-Industrial Council (CAA), highlighted the importance of easing the tax burden on agro-industry to stimulate the sector's productive capacity. Additionally, farmers like Ronalt Garnier from the La Paz agricultural cooperative in Entre Ríos believe that this decision represents relief for producers at a time when international cereal prices are declining.

Despite the warm reception of the measure among producers, there are calls to continue working towards the complete and definitive elimination of distortionary taxes for the agricultural sector. In this regard, it is hoped that the current fiscal balance will allow temporary measures to become permanent to ensure the sustainable development of agro-industry in Argentina.
