Diego Ayala, friend of photojournalist Pablo Grillo, injured during the police repression in Congress, gave a strong testimony on Splendid AM 990. During the interview, Ayala asked for justice and criticized the government's response to what happened. "It was brutal repression, it was crazy what happened," Ayala asserted firmly.
Referring to the statements of Security Minister Patricia Bullrich, who suggested that the projectile that hit Grillo in the head may have bounced before hitting him, Ayala said: "The president says it’s fine, that the projectile bounced, but we all saw what happened. Justice must be done. Everything is very clear on the cameras."
Ayala also reported that Grillo's condition remains delicate and that he will undergo another surgery next Monday at Ramos Mejía Hospital. "We need blood donors of any group and type. People who want to help can come from 8 in the morning," he detailed. The call for blood donations has already received a great response, with dozens of people coming to help in recent days.
"Yesterday we made a quick call and in a matter of hours, a lot of people joined. Many people who didn't even know him came to donate blood," Ayala mentioned. He also referred to the mobilization in Pablo Grillo's neighborhood, in Remedios de Escalada, where justice for what happened is demanded. "Justice must be done. That speaks of solidarity and that people see the reality," he highlighted.
Ayala closed the interview with a strong request: "Don't let this topic cool down. That speaks of solidarity and that people see the reality." He expressed his outrage over the official version that linked Grillo to political sectors and questioned the justification of unjustified violence.
