Motorcycle Accident of Ex Boxer Maidana

Former boxer Marcos "El Chino" Maidana suffered a traffic accident when he crashed his motorcycle into a car on National Route 11, north of Reconquista, Chaco. It was reported that Maidana, riding a BMW motorcycle 647-R1300, collided with a Renault Clio driven by Ángel Oscar Stangaferro. As a result, the athlete was transported by ambulance to the Hospital of the City of Florencia for first aid and then was referred to Villa Ocampo.

The former boxer, who was the only one injured in the accident, was taken to the Sanatorio Norte in the City of Avellaneda to undergo various tests for the injuries he sustained to his back and feet. The incident occurred near the Comuna de Hardy, about 125 kilometers from Reconquista. The cause was classified as culpable injuries in a traffic accident, and the Investigative Police of the city of Las Toscas and the head of Inspection of Zone VI intervened at the scene.

"I debuted in activity on June 12, 2004, and I retired on August 9, 2016," said Maidana, who during his career fought 40 bouts and achieved 35 victories, with 31 by knockout and four by unanimous decision, in addition to recording five losses. The news is still developing.
