A 64-year-old Bolivian man was captured in Rafael Castillo after evading justice for sexually abusing his partner's granddaughter. He was sentenced to five years in prison.


Bolivian Man Arrested for Sexual Abuse in Argentina

A 64-year-old Bolivian citizen was arrested by the Argentine Federal Police in the western area of the Greater Buenos Aires. The individual was a fugitive from justice after being sentenced to five years in prison for sexually abusing his partner's granddaughter between July and September 2015.

The capture occurred after the convicted individual fled upon learning of his sentence. The Fugitive Search Division of the Federal Police conducted an intense search, and after several days of surveillance and intelligence, they were able to locate him in a house in the Nueva Unión neighborhood in Rafael Castillo.

With the corresponding court order, federal agents captured the fugitive in the vicinity of his home. The detainee will now have to face charges of repeated sexual abuse and appear before the courts to answer for his actions.

According to reports, after the capture, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the intervening magistrate to continue the corresponding legal process.
