Governor's Brother Involved in Fatal Accident

Buenos Aires, November 17 (NA) – On Saturday morning, Horacio 'Chuleta' Zdero, the brother of Chaco Governor Leandro Zdero, was involved in a fatal traffic accident in the city of Quitilipi, where he ran over and killed a man who was walking in the area.

The incident occurred around 5 a.m. when the white Ford Ranger driven by Zdero struck a pedestrian, a 40-year-old construction worker known as 'Pinta,' who died instantly from the impact.

He added: 'As corresponds to any citizen, this fact must comply with the rigorous legal procedures, without any distinction.' A nightclub was operating in the vicinity, a detail that could provide elements to reconstruct the context of the tragedy.

Fiscal's Office No. 3, in charge of Marcelo Soto, intervened in the case and ordered that Horacio Zdero be notified of the charge for 'supposed fatal traffic accident,' although it ordered that he remain at liberty while the investigation progresses.

Governor Leandro Zdero spoke publicly through the social network X: 'In the face of the traffic accident in which my brother is involved, I accompany with deep pain the affected family in this irreparable loss.'
