Buenos Aires, February 17 (NA) – An intense search is underway in Puerto Madryn for a 23-year-old woman who disappeared while practicing diving from a vessel authorized for this type of underwater activity. According to the expedition leaders, as they were about to return to shore, they noticed that the tourist had not resurfaced after the dive. Since Monday, February 16, personnel from the Argentine Naval Prefecture has been carrying out a major operation in the Punta Cuevas area, in the waters of the Nuevo Gulf, where the tourist from Buenos Aires submerged along with three other people who were on board the vessel of the company Freediving Patagonia, according to the Argentine News Agency. Everything was proceeding without incident until, at the time of return, they notified that only three had resurfaced, highlights ADNSur information. Immediately, authorities were notified, and for hours now, emergency operations have been underway at the location of the 'HU SHUN YU 809' Submarine Park. It was learned that the other three members of the vessel were transferred to the Andrés Ísola Hospital.
