This Thursday, in the city of Posadas, a 76-year-old retiree was robbed as she was leaving the bank. The woman had withdrawn 2,600,000 pesos, corresponding to a loan she had previously requested. The incident occurred at the intersection of Buenos Aires and Belgrano streets, where the Macro bank is located.
Upon leaving the branch, the retiree was approached by two criminals who threatened her with a knife and snatched the bag containing the money. The victim, identified as Silvia Ester, reported the robbery and the police initiated an investigation. Authorities reviewed security cameras in the area in an attempt to identify the perpetrators, but so far, they have not obtained positive results.
According to the woman's testimony, she had requested the loan the previous Tuesday, and shortly after withdrawing the money, she became a victim of the robbery.
