Helicopter Incident at Pinamar Beach Raises Safety Concerns

A helicopter landed in the dunes of Pinamar at a time when they were full of people. After initial inquiries, the National Administration of Civil Aviation (ANA) reported that the pilot was disqualified and charged with an infraction.

The incident took place on Sunday, January 19, when tourists and locals were enjoying the beach. The helicopter approached the dune area at low altitude, throwing dollars before descending, creating a risk for everyone present.

Onboard the aircraft was the cumbia 420 singer, Perro Primo, who expressed on social media: "This is how a true rockstar arrives at their show." The musician was supposed to attend a free concert in Pinamar and, due to problems with entering by car, decided to arrive by helicopter.

After the images went viral showing tourists fleeing to avoid injury, ANAC initiated an investigation and determined the preventive disqualification of the pilot for 60 days, along with a possible financial sanction for landing without authorization at La Olla beach in Pinamar and the immediate surrender of his physical license.

In a statement, ANAC reiterated its commitment to the safety of civil aviation and intolerance for violations that endanger the integrity of individuals. It was revealed that the helicopter took off from an aerodrome in Villa Gesell without the required authorization for the maneuver, endangering everyone present.
