
In the Santa Fe department of Las Colonias, a man stabbed to death his ex-partner's boyfriend. According to reports from local media, the alleged attacker, identified as Raúl López, 46 years old, entered the house through the front door in the town of Pilar and attacked Matías Roldán, 34 years old, with a knife. The motive for the homicide appears to be related to sentimental issues, as the victim was in a relationship with the attacker’s ex-girlfriend.
Personnel from the Investigation Police and forensic experts from the Scientific Forensic Division of Region number five conducted analyses at the residence. Blood traces were found on the dining room floor, a bed, and a piece of furniture, and clothing items and other relevant elements for the investigation were seized. Raúl López was placed at the disposal of prosecutor Guillermo Castellano from the Rafaela Public Prosecutor's Office, who ordered the autopsy and an examination of the attacker's clothing.
At the scene, the clothes López was wearing at the time of his arrest were identified: sneakers, a black t-shirt, and baggy trousers. The Sixth Police Station of the town of Pilar intervened in the case and continues with the necessary investigation to clarify the tragic event.
