The accused, 55 years old, is charged with entering Vieyras's home for criminal purposes on December 13, 2024, and shooting the victim, causing his death. According to the police report, after an investigation, three possible suspects in the crime were identified, which led the Court of Guarantees to authorize three raids in different locations in Pilar.
During the raids, several items were seized, including cell phones, a cap, a passport, a pistol, and marijuana. In the suspect Crippa's home, 1.280 kg of marijuana was found, and he was arrested for homicide in the course of a robbery. Authorities are continuing the investigation to identify a possible accomplice in the crime.
The incident occurred when two armed individuals broke into Vieyras's residence in Luján, subdued the businessman, and shot him fatally. After the crime, the criminals fled with the victim's belongings. A first suspect in the case was arrested in previous raids in Pilar, and Crippa was recently arrested in a police operation in Santa Caloma.
