An abandoned vehicle was found on Provincial Route 211 in Misiones with 126 kilos of marijuana, after the driver was pursued by the police. The incident occurred when the driver, upon encountering a police checkpoint, made a sharp U-turn and fled in the opposite direction. Officers from the "Aristóbulo del Valle" section, part of the 9th Squadron "Oberá", were deployed on the same road near the Las Campiñas area when they observed the approaching vehicle perform the maneuver and speed away. The officers launched a controlled pursuit that ended a few kilometers later when they found the car, unoccupied, abandoned on the roadside with the drug cargo on board. Finally, according to the official Argentina.gob.ar website, five bundles were detected containing 171 rectangular packages with a compact vegetable substance, which, after a Narcotest test, was confirmed to be 126 kilos and 188 grams of marijuana. The Federal Court of Oberá and the Federal Prosecutor's Office ordered the seizure of the vehicle and the narcotic.
