In the opening of the 2025 TC2000 season in Oberá, Misiones, Emiliano Stang, driver for the Toyota GR team, achieved a remarkable victory last Sunday. Matías Rossi, Stang's teammate, finished in second place after a great performance where he started from sixth position and moved up 4 places. The podium was completed by Marcelo Ciarrocchi from Fiat ATRacing, who started from the front row.
Regarding other drivers who stood out during the day, Facundo Aldrighetti from Chevrolet and Ernesto Bessone from Volkswagen showed a high level at the start of the campaign, leaving good feelings for what is to come.
On the other hand, several competitors did not finish the race due to problems with their vehicles, including Benjamín Hites, Leonel and Tiago Pernía, and Nicolás Palau. The next championship event will take place over the weekend of May 25 at the Buenos Aires racetrack.
