**Five students from the National University of La Plata are sent to a multidisciplinary tour on robotics**
During the National Science and Technology Fair from October 29 to November 1, a team from La Plata will compete in the robotics category, with a command of over 190 students. The experience, linked to the realization of the ONO project, focuses on the development of scientific, technological, and multidisciplinary skills. The meetings feature key STEAM initiatives (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and are attended by one of the largest groups of specialists in the fields of programming, innovation, and updates.
Neuquén joins the list of regions with Argentina receiving the right to host the event, having previously hosted in Esquel (2019), La Rioja (2021), Buenos Aires (2022), Mendoza (2023), and San Luis (2024). The selection of students was made by the agency Ecydense, under the auspices of the ministries of Education and Science.
The participants are fifth-year students from EPET N.º 20, trained in programming, robotics, and project management. Two of them have already represented Argentina in the Argentine Robotics Cup. "The robotics cup not only involves building, but also developing creativity, leadership skills, and teamwork," say the regional structures.
The Argentine delegation is presented by the company Educabot, specializing in educational robotics. Its leader is Felipe Erre Zoppo, who stated: **"Our mission is to ensure that every regional command has the necessary experience to start, fostering creativity, leadership skills, and teamwork".**
