Two Young Women Missing in Neuquén Province

Two young women, aged 17 and 18, are being intensively sought in the province of Neuquén after their families reported their disappearance to the police. This led to the activation of an operation and the “Alerta Nati” protocol to locate them. According to local media, one of the missing persons is Morena Haydeé Jazmín Brezina, 18, who was last seen on Tuesday, March 3, in the Neuquén capital. According to police information, the woman is slim, approximately 1.52 meters tall, has short red hair and light brown eyes. The last time she was seen, she was wearing a blue sweater, a white t-shirt, light gray denim shorts, and black sneakers. Following the report, the Police Operations Center intervened, initiating search tasks and disseminating the request for information to try to locate the young woman. In parallel, an operation is also underway to locate Maia Jazmín Medina, 17, from San Patricio del Chañar, whose disappearance was reported in the province and who was being sought by authorities under the same investigative framework. Medina was described as robust, approximately 1.70 meters tall, with fair skin, dark hair with bangs, and dark eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing light-colored Oxford-style jeans, a black and white striped top, and white sneakers. In this context, the “Alerta Nati” protocol, the Neuquén system activated in such situations, has been activated. Given this situation, authorities have asked the community to contact the Homicide Unit or local police stations with any information that may be useful to the investigation. Phone lines have also been enabled to receive information, including the 13th Police Station at (299) 485-5236 and the 18th Police Station at (299) 446-0891, as the operation continues.
